About This Role
- Design, build, and scale backend systems powering the full order life cycle for multiple international markets including Mexico and Canada.
- Lead technical design and architecture of order management domains such as order capture, inventory reservation, fulfillment routing, and post-order processes.
- Drive platform convergence, mentor engineers, and contribute to incident response for high-scale, multi-market distributed e-commerce systems.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience focusing on backend development.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem; experience with NoSQL databases, event-driven architectures (Kafka), and building distributed systems at scale.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 4 years software engineering experience OR 6 years software engineering experience without degree.
- Experience with multi-market/multi-tenant systems supporting locale-specific business rules and cloud-native development on Azure or GCP.

- Experienced in designing and operating large-scale, multi-market order management or fulfillment backend systems.
- Proficient in system design, domain-driven design, event-driven microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure with emphasis on internationalization and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, resilient platform solutions.
