About This Role
- Develop, maintain, and extend automated test cases for complex broadcast software products.
- Analyze test failures, report bugs, and collaborate with development teams to improve automated test coverage.
- Contribute to testing documentation, review test source code, and work with cross-functional remote teams in India and Canada.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a QA engineer with test automation expertise.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience with Linux systems administration (Ubuntu) and bash scripting.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software testing standards (ISTQB Foundation or equivalent).
- Working hours 4 pm to 12:30 am IST; Work model is Remote/Hybrid with office location in Bangalore, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in broadcast industry standards or willing to quickly learn hardware-software integrated systems in broadcast domain.
- Proficient in managing and improving automated testing processes and collaborating across international teams.
- Comfortable working remotely with asynchronous coordination and managing time effectively in a late-shift schedule.
