About This Role
- Execute manual and automated test cases according to project requirements and test plans, ensuring quality and coverage standards.
- Identify, document, track defects using tools like JIRA, and follow up with development teams for timely resolution.
- Provide test progress updates, support management/stakeholder reporting, and suggest process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-5 years of software testing experience including manual and automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience with automation tools, specifically Microsoft Playwright, and issue tracking tools like JIRA.
- Strong English communication skills; Japanese language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience and understanding of the banking and financial services domain.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and working in offshore or multi-cultural teams.
- Preferably holds ISTQB, CSTE or equivalent certification and shows attention to detail in execution and issue tracking.
