About This Role
- Develop and support PLC software solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech products, focusing on design, coding, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and engineering to gather requirements and deliver software updates throughout the lifecycle.
- Ensure integration and validation of software with hardware systems and provide technical support to improve software projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or equivalent.
- 7+ years project experience programming Siemens TIA Portal | STEP 7 with proficiency in Structured Control Language (SCL).
- Strong knowledge of Siemens S7-1500 PLC models and simulation software.
- Experience interfacing PLC systems with SCADA systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex PLC software development within regulated environments like pharmaceutical or biotech.
- Proficient with software lifecycle tools and version control (preferred: Polarion, SVN).
- Technical mindset with ability to bridge PLC programming and software development involving Java, C++, C#, or .NET frameworks.
