About This Role
- Own test strategy, planning, and execution across Deloitte's IDT product portfolio, focusing on manual testing and overall quality assurance.
- Lead the transition from manual testing to increased automation and GenAI-enabled QA practices, mentoring QA engineers in these methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage test execution, defect resolution, risk mitigation, and communicate status and risks to leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6-9 years of professional experience in software testing/QA with strong expertise in manual testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), and API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and operational ceremonies, plus knowledge or use of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) and awareness or experience with GenAI tools in QA.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading manual QA efforts but driven to increase automation and advanced AI/ML-enabled testing techniques.
- Strong ability to mentor and guide junior QA engineers and influence QA processes and tooling adoption within Agile delivery teams.
- Able to manage cross-functional collaboration including developers, BAs, and product managers, providing clear communication on quality risks and business impact.
