About This Role
- Lead and manage a team responsible for all aspects of revenue recognition and US GAAP accounting tasks including accruals, adjustments, reconciliations, and cash applications.
- Oversee and execute process re-engineering, standardization, and automation initiatives within the Revenue Accounting function to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls, manage month-end and quarter-end close processes, and support internal and external reporting and variance analysis.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Accounting or professional qualification like CA, CPA, PMP, or MBA-Finance.
- 12-14 years of progressive experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) or related accounting areas, preferably in major financial institutions.
- Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, SOX controls, and experience managing accounting teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills), Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Financials; knowledge of data analytics tools like Tableau or Cognos is a plus.

- Experienced leader with prior first or second-level management responsibility overseeing global or multi-geography accounting teams.
- Strong subject matter expertise in revenue accounting within financial institutions including regulatory and control environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead process re-engineering, automation projects, and drive standardization across complex accounting operations.
