About This Role
- Lead and scale a global Platform Engineering organization responsible for secure, scalable infrastructure across cloud, compute, storage, and networking layers.
- Serve as the first internal customer (Customer 0) to validate, harden, and influence the roadmap for internal software engineering, security, and infrastructure products.
- Drive hands-on engineering execution including Infrastructure as Code, predictive monitoring, service uptime, security compliance, and defining Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years of hands-on technical software engineering and architecture experience with proven team management.
- Experience building and scaling platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise security organizations.
- Deep technical expertise in cloud, compute, storage, and networking technologies and Infrastructure as Code for automation and security.
- Role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to lead and operate as Customer 0, validating and securing internal tools before market release.
- Experience running 24x7 production operations for heterogeneous cloud applications with a strong operations and customer-service mindset.
- Background with large-scale platform architecture, enterprise security frameworks, DevSecOps, and metrics-based process improvements.
