About This Role
- Manage purchase orders with overseas vendors including creation, updates, and deletions.
- Monitor warehouse stock levels and ensure timely escalation of component availability issues to meet plant requirements.
- Evaluate supplier performance, coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders, conduct weekly delivery and performance meetings, and ensure optimum inventory levels at the plant.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement or related function.
- Proficiency in SAP MM Module mandatory.
- Work Experience Required: 3 to 5 years.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in procurement planning with cross-functional coordination and supplier performance evaluation.
- Familiarity with inventory monitoring and stock level management in manufacturing plants.
- Comfortable using tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP MM Module; Power BI knowledge preferred but not mandatory.
