About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and regulatory data platforms using Apache Spark, Java/Scala, PySpark, and Spring Boot.
- Create High-Level and Low-Level Designs based on business and regulatory requirements, optimizing complex Spark SQL queries and data transformations.
- Implement DevOps workflows using GitHub, Jenkins/Lightspeed, Harness; leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot and Devin AI to accelerate development and code quality.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-9 years of experience in software and data engineering with expertise in Java, Scala, Apache Spark, Spark SQL, and Python/PySpark.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in SQL programming, Spark SQL query optimization, and scripting (shell scripting preferred).
- Experience with DevOps tools including GitHub, Jenkins/Lightspeed, Harness; familiarity with AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Devin AI).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and optimizing large-scale distributed data processing applications in enterprise settings.
- Able to produce technical documentation including High-Level and Low-Level Designs and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to apply AI-assisted development tools for code generation, testing, and refactoring to enhance engineering quality and speed.
