About This Role
- Lead architecture, implementation, and management of Microsoft SQL Server environments (2012+) including availability groups and disaster recovery.
- Plan and execute cloud database migrations (Azure and AWS PaaS) ensuring minimal downtime and risk.
- Monitor system health using Prometheus and Grafana, automate DBA routine tasks, enforce security practices, and provide detailed troubleshooting during incidents.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience administering SQL Server in enterprise production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud database migrations and management.
- Strong skills in T-SQL and PowerShell; deep knowledge of backup/recovery, high availability, replication, and performance tuning.
- This is a fully onsite role requiring routine availability for at least 2 hours between 8 AM and 5 PM US Central Time Zone.
