About This Role
- Own the automation testing strategy and execution for web and Windows-based applications to ensure comprehensive coverage and reduce time from idea to live deployment.
- Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using Java or C# and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze complex requirements to develop test scenarios, scripts, and conduct various testing types including sanity, functional, integration, exploratory, and system testing in an Agile environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in automation testing of web and Windows-based applications.
- Proficient in automation frameworks using Java/C#, Selenium, Specflow, BDD, Protractor, or WebDriver IO.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., GIT), test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TFS/MTM), and knowledge of SQL, JSON, XML, REST web services testing.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in bridging manual and automation testing with a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, capable of preparing detailed test strategies and plans.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams with the ability to create meaningful test reports and risk analysis.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical or laboratory software testing, especially LIMS, performance, security, or mobile automation testing is a strong advantage.
