Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Design and architect high-throughput, stateless SIP microservices with performance targets of 5,000+ TPS and sub-15ms latency.
- Implement protocol translation layers processing SIP-over-TCP/TLS to SIP-over-ZeroMQ traffic and build advanced concurrency models to support heavy load.
- Develop distributed state, security mechanisms including automated cryptographic key rotation, load balancer routing frameworks, and distributed tracing for observability.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in Golang preferred; strong skills in C++ also necessary.
- Deep knowledge of SIP/VOIP and telecom protocols, distributed systems, multi-threading, and concurrency control.
- Experience with networking/messaging protocols (gRPC, RabbitMQ), distributed databases (Apache Ignite, GridGain), and persistence/caching (PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing stateless, high-throughput telecom microservices with stringent latency requirements.
- Skilled in concurrent programming and distributed state management in Go and C++ environments.
- Capable of partnering with network/infrastructure teams to implement load balancing, security, and observability solutions in distributed systems.
