About This Role
- Participate as a core member of R&D Quality Assurance Engineering, providing guidance on software development process compliance with regulations such as IEC 62304 and 21 CFR 820.
- Lead application, compliance, and continuous improvement of policies related to software development, validation, risk management deliverables, and system validation.
- Review, author, and approve technical documentation; assess change control impacts; communicate status and challenges to management and cross-functional teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or Master’s degree with equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years related experience with software in a regulated medical device environment, or 0-2 years with a Master’s degree.
- Experience with software mobile applications and compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 820, IEC 62304, ISO 13485.
- Experience in software quality or engineering roles involving requirements analysis, design/development, integration, testing, and familiarity with SDLC methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in medical device software quality assurance focusing on compliance, risk management, and regulatory guidance.
- Able to interpret software design and code to verify requirement implementation and provide technical guidance across software design and test teams.
- Effective communicator capable of reporting project progress and challenges to upper management and cross-functional teams.
