About This Role
- Assess and test the control environment focusing on IT Automated Controls (ITACs) and Technology control effectiveness to ensure compliance with SOX and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and execute testing processes including documentation, gap identification, evidence gathering, and collaborate with control owners to drive remediation and risk mitigation.
- Enhance testing methodologies and contribute to improving the firm’s compliance and operational risk management framework, leading stakeholder interactions with minimal oversight.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4 years work experience in controls testing, audit, or operational risk management within a risk & control environment.
- Mandatory domain expertise in IT Automated controls (ITACs) and Technology control assessments including test of design and operating effectiveness.
- Qualified graduate degree required.
- Professional qualifications like CISA, CRISC, or CISSP preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in detailed control environment assessments within technology risk and compliance frameworks like SOX.
- Strong analytical skills with capability to analyze large data sets for exceptions and collaborate effectively with business and control owners.
- Demonstrates autonomy in leading testing engagements and improving methodologies with advanced MS Office skills and familiarity with intelligent solutions like Alteryx and Tableau preferred.
