About This Role
- Own the entire reading experience including typography, layout, motion, and transitions to create a high-quality digital book feel.
- Design and shape the wider product experience covering onboarding, story discovery, library, and interactions beyond reading.
- Prototype rapidly using AI and modern tools and collaborate closely with engineers to ensure design quality through to production.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years experience in product design with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual and UX design for real consumer products.
- Strong expertise in typography and user experience design, including hierarchy, spacing, and readability.
- Experience working in end-to-end consumer product design, including shipping products, not just creating concepts.
- Location: Remote (India); full-time position; familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and AI-assisted tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced consumer product designer comfortable with broad ownership from concept to launch in an early stage environment.
- Strong interaction and motion design instincts combined with ability to prototype interactive experiences quickly.
- Highly independent with strong design judgment capable of challenging founders and making decisions without detailed specs.
