About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs primarily using Go for a high-traffic US B2B e-commerce platform.
- Develop event-driven workflows using Kafka and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and queries.
- Deploy and operate services on AWS with focus on reliability, performance, monitoring, and integrate with frontend and QA teams on API contracts.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong hands-on production experience with Golang.
- Proficiency in Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.
- Strong PostgreSQL skills including schema design and query optimization; hands-on AWS experience (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, or similar).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in backend system design and microservices for B2B or e-commerce platforms.
- Comfortable working with US clients and overlapping US Eastern Time working hours until about 2 PM ET.
- Skilled in building event-driven, distributed, and performant backend solutions at scale.
