About This Role
- Own design, development, and automation of build and release infrastructure and workflows using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Ansible.
- Provide operational support, training, and tooling refreshes for engineering teams leveraging release engineering tools such as Git, Artifactory, and JIRA.
- Develop AI-driven automation and intelligent workflows to enhance engineering productivity and maintain integration of engineering tools via APIs and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of software development and build/release experience.
- Proficiency in Python and strong experience with Linux.
- Experience with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualization technologies (VMWare, VME, KVM).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced working in hybrid cloud infrastructure and release engineering environments focusing on build automation and developer tooling.
- Skilled in integrating and maintaining continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with configuration management and defect tracking tools.
- Background in applying AI and automation technologies to improve engineering workflows and operational efficiency.
