About This Role
- Develop, design, and troubleshoot multiple software components within the firm’s payment technology products focusing on secure, stable, and scalable delivery.
- Write secure, high-quality code primarily in at least one programming language, integrating AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Contribute across the entire Software Development Life Cycle, including design, development, testing, automation, and operational stability with consideration of upstream/downstream system impacts.
Minimum Requirements
- Formal training/certification in software engineering plus 2+ years of applied software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, debugging, and maintenance in a corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and ability to critically validate AI-generated outputs.
- Knowledge and exposure to SDLC and agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Practical experience with Java 17+, microservices architecture, and AWS deployment including Kubernetes or container services and EC2 instances.
- Skilled in writing Terraform scripts and managing AWS production deployments.
- Familiarity with relational database management systems such as Oracle or PostgreSQL and strong background in full-stack enterprise application development under Agile SDLC frameworks.
