About This Role
- Execute and lead control environment testing to assess design, effectiveness, and identify gaps, ensuring alignment with firm's highest risks and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with process and control owners to plan walkthroughs, gather evidence, analyze issues, and support timely reporting of testing outcomes.
- Propose and implement improvements to testing methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of technology risk management.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified graduate with minimum 2 years experience in technology and cybersecurity controls testing, audit, or operational risk management within a risk and control environment.
- Fair understanding of cybersecurity and technology risks including identity and access management, data protection, software development, governance, risk, and compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and identify patterns or exceptions.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in relevant technology risk and controls environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in technology risk and controls with demonstrated ability to assess complex control environments and lead walkthroughs with minimal oversight.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing business leaders based on test findings and risk evaluations.
- Familiarity or certification in ISO 27001 Auditor or CRISC, audit background, and skills in data analytics tools such as Alteryx and Tableau preferred but not mandatory.
