About This Role
- Ensure .NET application reliability by diagnosing and fixing production issues like memory leaks, thread exhaustion, and GC pressure.
- Operate and optimize AWS compute workloads (EC2 Auto Scaling, ECS Fargate, Lambda) and manage RDS SQL Server deployments including failover, replicas, and performance tuning.
- Build and maintain observability, monitoring, and incident response processes including SLO definitions, root cause analysis, and on-call rotation.
Minimum Requirements
- 7–12 years of professional experience.
- Strong C#/.NET engineering skills with the ability to debug and contribute to production code and resolve reliability issues.
- Hands-on expertise in AWS compute services (EC2 Auto Scaling, ECS Fargate, Lambda), RDS SQL Server operations, and AWS networking/security.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation or CDK, observability tools (CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray), and incident management including on-call duties.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced SRE or platform engineer with at least 4 years in similar roles and a systems-focused engineering background.
- Skilled in defining and managing SLOs/SLIs and conducting blameless postmortems to drive reliability improvements.
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and mentoring teams on SRE best practices, with a proactive approach to automation and operational tooling.
