About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic on mainframe systems.
- Refactor legacy code for integration with modern cloud and mobile applications.
- Monitor and optimize mainframe architecture performance.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex system interactions to keep mission-critical applications running.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.
- Excellent coding skills in Java, Python, .Net or similar, including strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with software development methodologies for scalable and robust software.
- Experienced with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, REST-based web services, and knowledge of Microservices, containers (Docker & Kubernetes), and messaging queues.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of OOP and design patterns, able to manage complex legacy and modern systems.
- Experience or interest in mainframe modernization and cloud migration projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred but not mandatory.
