About This Role
- Lead engineering strategy and technical direction for Subscription Management, Entitlements, and Metering capabilities that support Freshworks' monetization.
- Shape platform architecture and roadmap in collaboration with Product and business stakeholders to enable scalable, reliable, and evolving billing models.
- Build and scale high-performing engineering teams and partnerships across Product, Finance, Pricing, Sales, and Customer Success to drive execution and business outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale platform building and scaling.
- 5+ years of engineering management experience including managing senior technical leaders or Engineering Managers.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, cloud-native systems, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Work Experience Required: 15+ years software engineering, 5+ years engineering management.

- Experienced leader comfortable navigating both technical architecture and business strategy related to billing and monetization platforms.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior business and technical stakeholders across disciplines.
