About This Role
- Design and develop bare metal and RTOS-based firmware/software for 5G SoC device driver and lower PHY components.
- Test and debug developed software/firmware both in simulation and on actual hardware, including remote lab environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Applications, Systems, Hardware, and Software/Firmware teams to define requirements and participate in architecture and code reviews.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required; M.Tech preferred.
- Experience with ARM or similar embedded SoC environments and hands-on RTOS experience.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and familiarity with software development tools such as GIT, Jira, and debugging tools (GDB, JTAG).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in low-level driver development including register-level programming, interrupts, DMA, and concurrency.
- Familiar with embedded system testing including boot-time/runtime initialization and use of unit testing frameworks (Unity, GoogleTest).
- Background in cellular wireless protocols (4G LTE or 5G NR) and previous System on Chip (SoC) product development preferred.
