About This Role
- Manage and maintain large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems in a DevSecOps environment to ensure extremely high uptime and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and cloud teams to build cost-effective, highly available systems and resolve operational issues.
- Develop automation tools, scripts for auto-remediation, infrastructure as code using technologies like Terraform, and participate in 24/7 incident response under a follow-the-sun model.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in software engineering, systems administration, database administration, and networking.
- At least 1 year of public cloud software development and/or administration experience.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Bash, Java, JavaScript) and system automation tools (Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience operating in a DevSecOps culture with strong cross-functional knowledge across systems, storage, networking, security, and databases.
- Skillful in automation and orchestration of Linux/Windows environments to support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Preference for candidates holding cloud certifications and comfortable participating in global 24/7 incident management operations.
