About This Role
- Provide organization-wide technical leadership for large-scale distributed systems and platform architectures to ensure scalability, reliability, and modernization.
- Define and drive long-term technical strategy across multiple teams, leading high-impact cross-functional initiatives that improve engineering effectiveness and AI-assisted development.
- Mentor senior engineers and influence architecture, observability, and operational maturity while advancing platform capabilities and developer productivity tooling.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of software engineering experience driving technical strategy across multiple teams or organizations.
- Deep experience designing large-scale distributed systems or platform architectures, including cloud-native production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Work Experience Required: 6+ years
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-team technical strategy and execution without direct authority in complex environments.
- Experienced with observability, reliability engineering, and improving engineering productivity through platforms and modern delivery practices.
- Familiar with AI-assisted software development and organizational AI strategy impacting measurable engineering outcomes.
