About This Role
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance Azure cloud data engineering solutions, including data architectures and pipelines.
- Establish and enforce coding, quality assurance, and governance practices for data engineering projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects meet scope, timeline, budget, and compliance requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-10 years of professional experience in data engineering or related field.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong hands-on skills in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Microsoft Azure Data Services (Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse).
- Active sole proprietorship registered for B2B freelancing; role is remote and project-based in India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and managing ETL frameworks, data warehousing, and implementing cloud-based data solutions on Azure.
- Capable of leading technical strategy and improving engineering standards, quality assurance, and CI/CD practices.
- Comfortable working as a freelancer with flexible, part-time engagements and collaborating with cross-functional, client-facing teams.
