About This Role
- Develop, debug, and maintain Python-based test scripts for functional and system-level testing in PCBA manufacturing operations.
- Perform product integrity testing and compliance validation using test plans, and analyze deviations to update scripts accordingly.
- Collaborate with operations, manufacturing partners, and engineering to implement test strategies, optimize automation, and report test outcomes to stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in Python test automation for systems/software/hardware products.
- Mandatory strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with YAML/JSON/XML, Linux/Unix scripting, and version control (Git).
- Understanding of Design for Test (DFT) techniques, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP), and experience with unit testing frameworks (Pytest).
- Open to night shifts as per job requirement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience or familiarity with PCBA manufacturing, SMT technology, and automated testing systems.
- Ability to use data analytics and statistical methods to optimize test efficiency and solve defects.
- Capable of mentoring team members and leading training on tools, technologies, and best practices within cross-functional teams.
