About This Role
- Develop, debug, and maintain Python-based test scripts for functional and system-level testing in manufacturing environments.
- Perform product integrity testing and troubleshoot failures using log analysis, debugging, and CLI investigations.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to implement test strategies, apply data analytics for test optimization, and oversee software development lifecycle and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in Python test automation for systems/software/hardware products.
- Strong programming knowledge in Python; familiarity with YAML/JSON/XML and Linux/Unix scripting.
- Knowledge of Design for Test (DFT), networking fundamentals (TCP/IP), unit testing frameworks (Pytest), version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Open to working night shifts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in PCBA manufacturing operations, SMT technology, and automated testing systems.
- Able to apply statistical methods and data analytics (e.g., JMP, Python) to improve test efficiency and yield.
- Capable of mentoring team members and providing training on tools, technologies, and best practices.
