About This Role
- Responsible for achieving dispatch targets as per Annual Business Plan including vehicle placement within 48 hours of shipment issue.
- Manage material dispatch prioritization, enforce penalties on transporters per contract terms, and maximize container dispatches in the domestic market.
- Develop and submit logistics reports via SAP, manage billing processes within 6 days, conduct reverse auctions, and oversee ISO documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma, B.Sc, or B.Com degree required.
- 3-8 years of experience in a large manufacturing industry in logistics or supply chain role.
- Location requirement: Tarapur, Maharashtra, India.
- Work Experience Required: 3-8 years relevant experience in logistics/supply chain in manufacturing.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in logistics operations with measurable dispatch and transport management accountability.
- Capable of using SAP for report development and familiar with ISO documentation standards.
- Able to make operational decisions including disciplinary actions and training in a team environment.
