About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain build and release infrastructure and processes including packaging of build artifacts.
- Automate infrastructure and development environments using tools such as Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes, and APIs to enhance engineering productivity and operational efficiency.
- Provide daily support to engineering teams for release engineering tools (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, JIRA) and participate in regular tooling refreshes and admin duties.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of experience developing and maintaining software including release builds and packaging.
- Proficiency in Python, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and strong Linux skills mandatory.
- Hybrid work model requiring an average of 2 days per week onsite at an HPE office in India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing and automating development pipelines with hands-on expertise in container and virtualization technologies.
- Comfortable supporting engineering tools daily and contributing to infrastructure automation and AI-powered engineering productivity solutions.
- Experienced with modern CI/CD tools and frameworks, and can integrate various engineering tools and APIs for workflow automation.
