About This Role
- Manage and develop a team of Statistical Programming professionals including hiring, training, and performance oversight.
- Serve as lead statistical programmer on major projects providing advanced technical expertise and consulting within the department and across Biostatistics teams.
- Oversee project resource allocation, adherence to timelines, budgeting, and staff engagement initiatives ensuring global consistency and operational effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 12 years of relevant experience including at least 1 year in a leadership role, OR Bachelor's degree with 6 years experience including 1 year leadership, or equivalent.
- Advanced proficiency in SAS and technical database skills.
- Knowledge of statistics and clinical drug development processes required.
- Proven staff management experience with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading multi-project statistical programming teams within clinical research or biostatistics environments with demonstrable leadership impact.
- Skilled in project finance basics including forecasting, burn-rate monitoring, and managing out-of-scope requests.
- Effective in matrixed service delivery models with the ability to proactively identify risks, communicate issues, and drive business and financial results.
