About This Role
- Own end-to-end financial health analysis and reporting of clinical studies including metrics such as FTE variance, invoicing, and financial KPIs to inform decision-making at VP level.
- Lead monthly and quarterly sponsor-level financial reporting, encompassing budgets, forecasts, milestones, invoicing, and out-of-scope activities to optimize invoicing opportunities.
- Support finance leadership in revenue tracking, forecasting, management reporting, and prepare business unit financial packages and ad-hoc presentations to support strategic financial planning.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and mandatory professional accountancy qualification (CA/ CMA/ CPA/ CWA).
- Minimum 4+ years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting or analysis, preferably in project revenue business.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with Oracle Financial systems, Hyperion, Alteryx, Power BI is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Employment contingent on legal right to work in Chennai; role is contractual for 12 months.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in project finance with a strong ability to analyze financial and operational metrics to assess project viability.
- Able to manage complex financial reporting and forecasting processes, working closely with project management and finance leadership.
- Possesses professional financial certification and demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis within healthcare or clinical research environments.
