About This Role
- Own and define software architecture and technology strategy for Connectivity SBU products/platforms including telematics, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Lead technical engagement across product development lifecycle from requirements, design, prototype development, to product launch with cross-functional teams.
- Drive innovation via technology scouting, IP development, customer interaction including PoCs, RFIs, RFQs, and represent Harman in technical forums globally.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics, communications, computer engineering or related discipline.
- 12+ years experience in product development, system/embedded software, and connectivity technologies, specifically telematics and communications.
- Expertise in embedded system design, architecture, Linux OS Kernel, hardware interfaces, and end-to-end solutions including embedded, cloud, and mobile applications.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%, both domestic and international.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior technical leader proficient in telematics and connectivity domain with proven experience in system-level software architecture and product development.
- Experienced in hands-on prototype development, cross-functional leadership, and customer interfacing with a strong business and technical acumen.
- Skilled at translating complex technical requirements into architectural solutions and driving innovation within a multidisciplinary global environment.
