About This Role
- Own sourcing, negotiation, and contract management for direct materials, spare parts, and installation subcontracting within the unit.
- Define sourcing plans and conduct RFQs for customer project-specific materials, collaborating closely with project teams to meet real customer needs.
- Support implementation of global/area category plans and drive compliance through preferred supplier guidance and local contract negotiations.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing of materials.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech).
- Preferably experience from Construction or Building Material Industries.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in strategic sourcing (material).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling strategic sourcing with ownership of contracts and supplier negotiations in materials and subcontracted installation services.
- Capable of working cross-functionally with business units and project teams to align sourcing strategy with operational needs.
- Familiar with implementing global/area category plans and ensuring supplier compliance within a unit environment.
