About This Role
- Design, implement, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases including tables, indexes, stored procedures, and queries.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, security, data integrity, backups, and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database initiatives, application enhancements, migrations, and ensure reliable, secure data solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in database development, administration, or related SQL/T-SQL roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server database development, query optimization, backup/recovery, and security practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years explicit in JD.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and database troubleshooting in enterprise or data-intensive environments.
- Familiar with cross-team collaboration spanning application, security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to deliver maintainable database solutions.
- Comfortable working with backup/recovery processes, database security controls, and supporting high availability and disaster recovery operations.
