About This Role
- Design and lead secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures including landing zones and multi-account governance aligning with Well-Architected Framework.
- Lead cloud migration projects and implement cross-region disaster recovery strategies such as Pilot Light and Active-Active models.
- Manage L2 operational responsibilities including incident escalation for P1/P2 production issues, root cause analysis, infrastructure as code, and hybrid networking deployments.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 7 years focused on AWS cloud technologies.
- Hands-on expertise in AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS, VPC, Transit Gateway, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, and Terraform/CloudFormation.
- Experience in cloud migration strategies and disaster recovery planning across AWS regions.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in bridging operational support (L2) with strategic cloud architecture (L3) demonstrating ownership of both execution and design.
- Proven ability to lead complex cloud migration and disaster recovery initiatives in an enterprise environment.
- Strong background in containerization (ECS/EKS) and hybrid networking including Transit Gateway and Direct Connect.
