About This Role
- Own SRE pillars including deployment, reliability, scalability, availability (SLA/SLO/SLI), performance, and cost optimization.
- Lead production rollouts and emergency patches through CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve deployment and change management processes.
- Manage observability stack, perform root cause analysis, handle 24x7 production support, and lead monthly operational reviews with executives on KPIs like uptime and security.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in production engineering, site reliability, or related roles.
- Hands-on expertise with at least 2 cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) focused on automation; Kubernetes and Linux proficiency required.
- Proficiency in Python scripting/programming and experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitOps).
- Experience managing 24x7 production environments, observability tools, security practices including vulnerability and patch management, and RBAC.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex cloud infrastructure and large-scale data stacks in a production environment with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency.
- Comfortable leading cross-functional collaboration (Dev, QA, DevOps, Customer Success) for RCA and product improvements in mission-critical systems.
- Skilled in implementing and driving observability strategies encompassing logs, metrics, tracing and working with persistence technologies like Postgres, MongoDB, Snowflake, and messaging systems like Kafka.
