About This Role
- Monitor and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, applications, and networks on a 24x7 rotational basis, including L2 escalation and incident resolution.
- Respond to security alerts, conduct incident investigation and initial response, including containment and escalation of security threats.
- Automate operational and security tasks, maintain runbooks and SOPs, manage ITIL processes including incidents, changes and major incident communications.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–6 years experience in NOC, SOC, cloud operations, or SRE/DevOps support with ITIL and ticketing tool experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (VPC, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch), Kubernetes (EKS preferred), security monitoring tools (SIEM, AWS security services).
- Strong Linux CLI skills, scripting or automation experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, or low-code/no-code tools).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in both network/cloud operations and security incident response, able to handle end-to-end incident ownership under pressure.
- Demonstrates strong troubleshooting and automation skills to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Comfortable working rotational shifts including nights and weekends, with a documented, process-driven operating style and clear communication abilities.
