About This Role
- Develop, maintain, and support Mainframe applications using COBOL and related IBM Mainframe technologies.
- Analyze requirements and implement solutions ensuring quality, security, scalability, and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and participate in application modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, REXX, VSAM.
- Experience with Endevor or similar Mainframe change management tools.
- Typically 5+ years of Mainframe development experience, preferably with COBOL-based insurance applications.
- Work Experience Required: Typically 5+ years with Mainframe development.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience with DXC Series 2 platform or US Property & Casualty Insurance domain preferred.
- Able to work effectively in large-scale enterprise application support and global delivery models.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
