About This Role
- Lead and develop a distributed team of SDETs focused on quality engineering for critical payment and settlement platforms.
- Define and evolve test strategies, automation frameworks, and quality practices to ensure high coverage and release confidence.
- Manage multiple quality engineering initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate risks and trade-offs effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
- 3+ years of people management experience leading SDET or QA teams.
- Strong hands-on technical background with Java and automation tools like Selenium or Playwright.
- Experience in testing distributed systems and microservices-based applications.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader comfortable managing high-performing teams in fast-paced, ambiguous, and dynamic environments.
- Strong technical credibility in automation and quality engineering with ability to influence across product, engineering, and operations stakeholders.
- Background in product-based organizations, preferably with experience in FinTech, Payments, Banking, or Settlement domains.
