About This Role
- Administer and support IBM Db2 for z/OS databases and configure/manage CDC replication solutions for real-time data movement across platforms.
- Ensure data integrity, optimize database and CDC performance, and troubleshoot replication and connectivity issues to meet service level objectives.
- Perform database maintenance including backup, recovery, migration, upgrades, patch management, and support high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years experience in administering and supporting Mainframe z/OS, IBM DB2, and IMS databases including structure administration, utility management, performance optimization, and maintenance.
- 3+ years experience specifically in MF DB2 CDC Database Administration with expertise in IBM IIDR/Change Data Capture replication monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience performing DB2 and IMS batch job failure analysis, database refresh, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Work Experience Required: 8+ years in relevant Mainframe DB2/IMS and CDC database administration.
