About This Role
- Define and drive emulation strategy and platform requirements for large complex SoCs in the Custom Compute and Storage (CCS) Business Unit.
- Lead emulation testplan development and execution on platforms like Veloce, Zebu and Palladium to ensure high-quality design tape-out.
- Collaborate with hardware vendors and cross-functional teams to maintain emulation infrastructure, develop HW/SW acceleration tools, and optimize pre-silicon and post-silicon validation processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field with 13+ years experience, or Master’s/PhD with 10+ years experience.
- Proven experience managing technical teams and leading cross-functional teams in design emulation and verification.
- Extensive knowledge of emulation platforms (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens) and building complex SoC emulation models.
- Strong scripting skills in Perl, Python, Tcl, UNIX Shell and understanding of processor architecture, SoC components, interconnect buses, IO protocols (PCIe, CXL, Ethernet), and memory interfaces (DDR, HBM).
