About This Role
- Lead and define emulation strategy and platform requirements for advanced System on Chips (SoCs) in the Custom Compute and Storage Business Unit.
- Drive execution of emulation verification and test plan development for large CCS products using platforms like Veloce, Zebu, and Palladium.
- Collaborate with hardware vendors and internal teams to maintain and enhance emulation hardware/software ecosystems, develop automation tools, and optimize pre-silicon validation environments.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields (Master’s or PhD also accepted with relevant experience).
- 15+ years of experience with a Master’s/PhD or 17+ years with a Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
- Extensive experience with emulation platforms from vendors such as Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens and strong coding skills in scripting languages like Perl, Python, Tcl, and UNIX Shell.
- Knowledge of processor architectures, SoC components, interconnect buses, IO protocols (PCIe, CXL, Ethernet), and memory interfaces (DDR, HBM).

- Demonstrates expertise in vendor collaboration and integration of emulation hardware/software platforms for product readiness.
- Strong operational understanding of large-scale SoC development lifecycle with focus on verification, debugging, and automation in emulation environments.
