About This Role
- Design, deploy, and manage observability platforms and monitoring solutions on Azure Kubernetes Service using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Azure Monitor.
- Implement and optimize Application Performance Monitoring (APM), including distributed tracing and synthetic monitoring for microservices and critical business applications.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, define SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, and provide technical leadership including mentoring junior engineers.
Minimum Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of experience in Observability, SRE, or DevOps Engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, KQL, and Azure Data Explorer.
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) is required; MBA or MCA are also acceptable as per JD.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing cloud-native architectures and containerized workloads with a strong understanding of Azure Cloud, networking, and microservices.
- Capable of leading observability initiatives and incident management adhering to SRE best practices with operational accountability.
- Strong technical leadership with ability to develop automation, integrate into CI/CD pipelines, and mentor junior staff.
