About This Role
- Own project sourcing by calculating material costs, selecting suppliers, designing supply chains, placing purchase orders, and managing delivery timelines in SAP.
- Drive material cost management and controlling through benchmarking, cost reduction initiatives, negotiations, and alternative sourcing.
- Manage supplier relationships including selection, negotiation, second sourcing exploration, supplier qualification, and maintain SAP master data for critical components.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement from a recognized institute.
- 8-10 years of supply chain experience in an EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) company required.
- Proficient in English communication (written and spoken).
- Experience working with MS Outlook, Excel, Word; knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex supply chain and sourcing roles within EMS environments involving project and supplier management.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with proven negotiation and project management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-moving environment with flat hierarchies.
