About This Role
- Build robust, scalable web-based backend applications with high-quality, maintainable code.
- Drive problem-solving for complex technical and business issues including performance tuning of large-scale distributed systems.
- Collaborate with product managers to execute medium-sized projects and iterate based on impact tracking; mentor junior team members for predictable delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience in coding and problem solving at scale.
- Strong programming skills in at least one general language (Java, C, C++) and experience with concurrency and multi-threading.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field (BTech, MTech, or PhD) or equivalent.
- Experience with scalable business applications, object-oriented design, test-driven development, and Linux-based full lifecycle development.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing large modules with clear abstractions and separation of concerns.
- Comfortable working in startup-like environments demanding high ownership and commitment.
- Skilled in database technologies including both SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (HBase, Elasticsearch, Aerospike).
