About This Role
- Lead architecture, design, and delivery of global seller fulfillment platform services with a focus on complex distributed systems and scalable APIs.
- Own end-to-end software development lifecycle including coding, system design, testing, deployment, and reliability for mission-critical services enabling seller engagement on Walmart Marketplace.
- Drive AI-augmented engineering practices and integrate AI/ML capabilities to enhance platform features like monitoring, onboarding and anomaly detection.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 5+ years of software engineering experience OR 7+ years of software engineering experience without specified degree.
- Experience with distributed systems design, API development, and platform engineering.
- Work experience explicitly requires software engineering or related area experience; minimum years vary by degree presence.
- Location: Role is based in Bangalore office, India.

- Senior technical individual contributor comfortable leading end-to-end architecture and design of complex, global-scale distributed systems and APIs.
- Experienced in applying AI-augmented development workflows and integrating AI/ML capabilities into software platforms at scale.
- Able to take ownership of platform reliability, operational excellence, and drive engineering standards through documentation and mentorship.
