About This Role
- Build and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant, scalable data systems supporting enterprise-grade analytical products.
- Contribute to Semantic Layer, Data Sharing solutions, and develop clean semantic models using tools like dbt MetricFlow.
- Implement and optimize distributed storage and query performance techniques; own operational stability including on-call duties.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software or Data Engineering in high-traffic, production environments.
- Proficiency with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake), SQL, Python/Spark/Java/Scala, and data transformation tools like dbt.
- Experience with production on-call rotations and CI/CD processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with Semantic Modeling concepts and optimizing query performance at scale.
- Skilled in big data technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, Hive/Hadoop) and familiar with streaming platforms like Kafka or Kinesis.
- Operationally rigorous engineer comfortable with ownership of stability, monitoring, and incident response in large-scale data environments.
