About This Role
- Implement and maintain stable network and infrastructure environments that comply with security, privacy, and audit standards.
- Automate and orchestrate infrastructure processes using Enterprise Systems Management (ESM) and CI/CD technologies to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (application development, enterprise architecture, cyber security) to develop and support infrastructure product roadmaps and deliver daily support for internal tools and systems.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in core networking.
- Proficiency with network topology, TCP/IP, DNS, routing & switching (Cisco/Juniper), firewalls (FortiGate/Palo Alto).
- Availability for on-call support as part of a rota when needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in advanced networking technologies including HAProxy/F5, DDoS mitigation, and application layer protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS).
- Skilled in automation and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, with REST API knowledge.
- Capable of designing and managing hybrid or cloud-native networks (AWS/GCP) and implementing Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions with Palo Alto.
