About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI platform systems that improve developer productivity and support data science workflows at Walmart.
- Own end-to-end delivery including development, deployment, and production support ensuring platform reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to enhance platform capabilities, implement DevOps, and ensure governance and security compliance of AI assets.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 9+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot frameworks, with programming skills in Python as basic requirement.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure and GCP).
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 9 years in relevant software engineering roles.

- Experienced in building distributed, high-performing, and resilient platforms with focus on AI and data science tooling.
- Proficient in operating and optimizing RESTful APIs and microservices for performance, security, and reliability at scale.
- Comfortable collaborating across global teams and enforcing governance controls on AI processes within large enterprise environments.
